Pink Pearls Magazine Issue Nr. 2
presents the European lesbian scene
Garbo Amsterdam will be Pink Pearls!
Last year Garbo Amsterdam enthusiastically entered into cooperation with women’s party organizer Garbo for Women. Unfortunately this cooperation ended because of different opinions and both organizations went their own way. To avoid confusion, Garbo Amsterdam decided to start the new year with a new name: Pink Pearls Amsterdam.
As we didn’t want to abandon the name of Greta Garbo completely, we’ve used it as an inspiration for our new name: Greta means ‘pearl’, so in this way we will always be connected to this example for the gay community.
At the moment we are working hard on the renewal of our site in order to have it operational under the new name as soon as possible. In the meantime, we continue all our positive activities to connect lesbian women in and outside of Europe.
We wish everybody a healthy and happy 2011!
