Pink Pearls Magazine Issue Nr. 2

presents the European lesbian scene

POUT is the brainchild of Elaine Mc Kenzie and Soraya Khan, and THE women’s party in London.

Club profile: POUT

In 2008, the London The Glass Bar closed its doors. Owner Elaine ran the – until that time – only women’s bar in the British capital. After that, she started organizing various events for lesbian and bisexual women. Her first feat of arms is POUT, a women’s night that takes all kinds of women into account; women of different ages and backgrounds turn the night into a success.

~ By Jolanda Groot

The power of POUT is the playful, loving and caring, but also professional attitude of Elaine and Soraya. “We want the visitors of out party feel welcome and convenient and dance on out choice of music: feel good music.” Feel good music by ABBA, SOS BAND, Michael Jackson, Chic La Freak, Madonna, Aretha Franklin, Donna Summer, Lady GaGa, Shalamar, Pussy Cat Dolls, Sugababes, Scissor Sisters, Noisettes, Beyoncé, Robin S, Rihanna, Girls Aloud, Alison Limerick, Chaka Khan, Amy Winehouse, James Brown, Jackson 5, Britney Spears, Earth Wind and Fire, Shakira, Loba and many others.

On the legendary and Motown soul, played by top DJs, shy and cheeky women can endlessly dance, have fun and drink cocktails.
